This winter, Casa de Artistas invites artists from across Cómpeta and the Axarquía region to gather, share, and showcase their work in our inaugural group exhibition, Encuentros (Encounters).

​

The Theme: What Constitutes an Encounter?

​

Rooted in the light and spirit of our white mountain village, Encuentros celebrates local dialogue, diverse mediums, and creative connections. The village of Cómpeta and its surrounding region exist at a fertile crossway: encounters between local traditions and international inspirations, land and sea, the past and contemporary creation, or simply between artists and the public.

​

Beyond this exhibition, Encuentro represents a foundational pillar embedded in the Casa de Artistas logo and mission—to serve as a meeting point where creative paths cross and inspire one another.

We invite you to interpret the theme through whichever perspective resonates most with your practice.
